Mgoun trek via Happy valley to Roses Valley trip Itinerary

    • Day 1: Marrakech(450m) – Arous(1900m) – Ikkis(2350m)

Drive from Marrakech to the famous valley of Ait Bougeumez. It is also well known as the happy valley, in the village of Arous, where you will meet our staff and start your walk. 1.5h walk to get to your first campsite(2350m).

    • Day 2: Ikiss(2350) – Aghri Pass(3400) – Mgoun basecamp(2930m)

Hike up along the valley to get to the pass of Jbel Aghri(3400m) with a great view of Mount Mgoun massive, then head down to the basecamp(2930m) for the night in Tents.

    • Day 3: Basecamp(2930m) – Mgoun ascent(4071m) – Ifri n Tgitim(2800m)

An early start to trek to the summit of M’goun, the ridge of the mountain offers a marvelous view to the south of Morocco. walk down to the camp in the high green plateau of Tanwot for the night in tents.

    • Day 4: Ifri n Tgitim – Tichki – Amskar – gorge Amjegag

Beautiful hike along a small valley of Oued M’goun, and well-deserved lunch at the waterfall. After lunch we head down along the river and explore some villages, why not enjoy tea with a Berber family. We will be camped at the beginning of the gorge.

    • Day 5: Amjegag – Alemdoun – Gorge Agouti – Roses valley Bouteghrar

You will set up and walk through the canyon and the village of Amjgag. enjoy walking along with the farming land of Alemdoun and another beautiful Agouti gorge. After lunch in the village of Agouti, we headlong the Rose valley to Boutghrar to the night in a guesthouse.

    • Day 6: Boutghrar – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

After our last breakfast with our group muleteers, we get on our bus and start driving. We will be stopping to explore the UNESCO world heritage Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou and have lunch in a restaurant. We then drive over the Atlas mountains to Marrakech where our trek ends.
